Nothing But Rustika Treats - Days 1 & 2

This week during our Nothing But Rustika Treats we made treats similar to what you would find in our bakery. 

We started off making sugar cookies from scratch. 

We added sprinkles before we put our cookies in the oven.

While our cookies were baking, we decorated cakes. 

The next day, we decorated our sugar cookies....

...and made the dough for our chocolate chip cookie pie...

...to see how our chocolate chip cookie pie and our other treats turned out, check back a little later in the day.

Cookies, Cookies, & More Cookies, Day 3

I hope you are enjoying your summer weekend so far! On the last day of our Cookies, Cookies, & More Cookies camp we started out making cookie dough from scratch using cake mix. 

And while the cookies were baking in the oven, we made S'more cookies....

...that turned into S'mores cookie towers...

When the cookies came out of the oven, we turned them into cookie pizzas.  Yum!

...and into cookie pizza sandwiches.

Cookies, Cookies, & More Cookies! Days 1 & 2

We kicked off our summer camps with a bang last week! Diving into cookie dough, icing, and sprinkles like never before. Here are a few pictures from last week. 

We decorated heart shaped cakes with icing that the kids made themselves. 

And then we made a glaze for our cakes. 

And then started on our cookie adventures - cookie sandwiches.  =)

It's Time for Summer Camps

It's that time again! School has just let out and it's time for summer! So we are getting our kitchen ready for summer camps. We have a great line up planned:

You can come to as many camps as you want and don't forget to bring your friends, too! The more the merrier! You will get to eat and take home every treat that you make. Just fill out this registration for and return the deposit to Rustika Cafe & Bakery by the Friday before your camp starts.

It's almost summer!

Hi! I hope you are doing well! I can't believe spring has flown by and we are ready to start taking summer classes again. I am working on a new summer schedule and will also be adding Mommy & Me classes. So get ready summer is right around the corner!
